Base fare
The base fare covers vehicle provision and starts with the taxi ride. Travel to a pick-up point within Chemnitz city is free.
Tiered kilometre rates
The first kilometres cost more than later route sections. A single kilometre price is therefore not an accurate calculation.
Waiting time
Waiting during the ride can be charged. Traffic, signals and stops cannot be predicted reliably, so the calculator excludes waiting time.
Large taxi
The surcharge applies from five passengers or when a large taxi is explicitly requested. Vehicle availability is confirmed separately.

Fixed-price corridor in Chemnitz
